Sardis

“Sardis is a guardian figure from my original saga Spiral Core. Her 1st Appearance is in (Book I: The Deepening Green). She’s a tiger-humanoid hybrid — part jungle, part intelligence, part instinct.

“She represents the wild force that protects balance without asking permission. Sardis is not ‘good’ in the soft sense. She is necessary. She’s loyalty wrapped in tooth and claw.

“In the world of Spiral Core, she walks the line between ally and storm. She’s the kind of ally you’re grateful to have — and slightly afraid of. When she stands beside you, you feel safer, but you never forget what she is.

“As one character says: ‘Thank God Sardis is on our side.’ And the answer comes back: ‘Don’t get comfortable. She eats what she kills.’

“Sardis is part of a larger mythic tapestry I’m building — a character who reminds us that the wild does not apologize for surviving, and that power, once awakened, has memory.”
