“It’s a hand painted acrylic mural that has some multimedia accents. It shows a cactus growing in the shadows of a city scape, shadowed by a fence to represent how society tries to aggressively control nature and contain it in ways it’s not meant to be. It shows the resilience of nature despite it all. I relate with the cactus as I feel a part of me is caged by expectations and limitations of a modern world and I often wish to return back to a freer, natured lifestyle.”
